Grant's Trail: Whitecliff Park
Crestwood, Missouri
Crestwood Parks web site
A municipal park of Crestwood, Whitecliff Park offers wooded trails and an old quarry pond (for looking, not for swimming). Crestwood's recreation center is here too,
including a residents-only pool and several ball fields.
The park entrance is about 0.2 mile from Grant's Trail (see
below for specific directions). To get to the wooded trails and pond, turn right into the first parking lot and cross the bridge at the far end of the lot.
To get to Crestwood's recreational facilities, do not turn into the first lot - rather, follow the road up the hill.
You'll find a portable restroom, a water fountain, and picnic tables in the park area on the right, just after entering the park.
Trail mile: 5.9
Parking: The parking lot immediately inside the park entrance is reserved for pavilion users with permits only.
Any car parked at the lower pavilion lot without a permit will be subject to
towing. However, parking is allowed on the upper lots - follow the drive around the curve and up the hill,
to where the athletic fields and recreation center are located (about 0.2 mile).
