Grant's Trail: St. Louis BMX Bike Park

This off-road BMX bike park is right off of Grant's Trail. It is only open when a "supervisor" is there. According to the signs, the park attempts to be open on weekends from 12:30 until sunset, but it is not guaranteed.

Note: We've heard rumors that the trails were removed. Not true: the trails are still there waiting for you.

DIRECTIONS

From the Trail:

The trail begins at Orlando's parking lot. Just 1/10 mile into the trail, the Bike Park is on the east (left) side of the trail, right after crossing over the small bridge.

From the North:

From the downtown area, head South on I-55 to exit 200 Union Road.  Go straight as you exit, which puts you southbound on Union.  After about 0.25 mile, Union crosses Highway 55.  Hoffmeister is a small street on the left immediately after you cross over the highway.  Turn left on Hoffmeister and follow it about 0.2 mile (go past the lodge; the parking lot entrance is between two large metal electrical towers).

From the South:

From 270 at 55, head North on I-55 to exit 199 Reavis Barracks.  Take a right (east) on Reavis Barracks, and then an immediate left (north) onto Union Road.  After 0.6 mile, turn right on Hoffmeister, which is a small street on the right immediately before the entrance ramp to northbound I-55 (when Union crosses Highway 55, you have just passed Hoffmeister).  Turn right on Hoffmeister and follow it about 0.2 mile (go past the lodge; the parking lot entrance is between two large metal electrical towers).
